Our lead osteologist Dr Willis has contributed to documentaries, TV shows, live radio interviews and conducted interviews with international journalists.

Below is a selection of her contributions:

  • Contributed to ‘Stonehenge: the Lost Circle Revealed’ for Tomos TV and aired on BBC2 February 12th, 2021.

  • January 2019: ‘Mystic Britain: Stonehenge’. Produced by Blink Films for the Smithsonian Institute for their new UK channel premier.

  • September 2018: Q&A sessions filmed by the Museum of Austria for the Stonehenge world tour exhibit.

  • October 2016: ‘Stonehenge Decoded’ also called ‘Secrets: Stonehenge Mystery’. Produced by Blink Films for the Smithsonian Institute, USA (Channel 5 in the UK) on the cremated human remains from Stonehenge.

  • September 2016: ‘The origins of Stonehenge’. Produced by Raw Cut for Channel 4 on the cremated human remains from Stonehenge.

  • Spring 2016: media interviews for newspapers and magazines after my results from the cremated human remains from Stonehenge was published in the British Archaeology magazine (March/April 2016: issue 147). Media included both national and international agencies.

  • February 2016: live interview with BBC Radio Wiltshire regarding the results from the cremated human remains at Stonehenge.

  • August 2015: ‘Secrets of the Stonehenge Skeletons’. Produced by Oxford Scientific Films for a Channel 4 documentary on the cremated human remains at Stonehenge.

  • ‘The Age of Bronze and Iron’. A BBC 2 TV documentary filmed for ‘Digging for Britain’ with Professor Alice Roberts on the Cladh Hallan mummies. Broadcasted December 2, 2011.

  • ‘The Secrets of Stonehenge’. A Gemini Productions and NOVA documentary with a segment on the osteological research into the cremated human remains recovered from Stonehenge. Broadcasted November 2011.

  • BBC TV interview for ‘The One Show’ presented by Dan Snow on the osteological research into the Cladh Hallan Mummies, South Uist, Scotland. Filmed December 2007.
